CLEAR LAKE FENCING CLUB

As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to help further the sport of recreationl and competitive fencing.  We offer open fencing, scheduled classes, and individual lessons to this end.

  • Wed., Jan. 6 — First day of normal Wednesday fencing at Seabrook Community Center, 6 PM to no earlier than 10 PM.
  • Thu., Jan. 7 — Normal Thursday fencing disrupted because of extended unavailability of Clear Lake Church of Christ auditorium.
  • Thu., Jan. 14 — First day of supplemental Thursday fencing at Westwood Elementary School, 6:30 PM to 10 PM.
  • Wed., Jan. 20 — Resumed normal Wednesday fencing at Seabrook Community Center, approximately 6 to 6:30 PM to whenever people wrap up, which might be around 10 PM.
  • Wed., Jan. 27 — Continuing normal Wednesday fencing at Seabrook Community Center, exact start and end times still ill-defined (watch for further details about times).
  • Thu., Feb. 4 — No Thursday fencing due to single-day unavailability of venue.
  • Thu., Feb. 5 — One day of Friday fencing at Thursday location, Thursday hours.
  • Thu., Mar. 25 — Last day of supplemental Thursday fencing at Westwood Elementary School (watch for plans for the second quarter).
  • Wed., Mar. 31 — Approximate last day of already-arranged normal Wednesday fencing at Seabrook Community Center (watch for plans for the second quarter).
CLFC logo   New Location and Day
Until further notice, the primary meetings of the Clear Lake Fencing Club will be on Wednesdays instead of Thursdays, at a new location. The club now meets on Wednesday evenings, exact time TBA (but no earlier than 6 PM or later than midnight; specifically on January 20 starting whenever the door is unlocked between 6 and 6:30 PM and ending whenever people wrap up, which might be around 10 PM), starting January 6, 2010, at the Seabrook Community Center (a.k.a. "Community House").
CLFC logo   Newer Location and Day
Until further notice, secondary supplemental meetings of the Clear Lake Fencing Club will be held on Thursdays, at a second new location. The club now meets on Thursday evenings, starting at 6:30 PM and ending 10 PM, starting January 14, 2010, at Westwood Elementary School.

CLFC Annual Elections will be held at the meeting of the members called for that purpose by the Vice President (invoking Presidential authority) for 8:00 PM Thursday May 8, 2008 at the Seabrook United Methodist Church gym (the "Ed White Memorial Youth Center"). All members received details by e-mail.
