Schedule Irregularities
- Thu., Dec. 25 — Normal Thursday fencing canceled
because of Christmas.
- Thu., Jan. 1 — Normal Thursday fencing canceled
because of New Year's Day holiday — but open house not canceled.

New Location
Until further notice, the Clear Lake Fencing Club will meet at a new location. The club
now meets on Thursday evenings, time TBA, starting December 4, 2008, at the Clear Lake Church
of Christ, 938 El Dorado Boulevard, 5 1/2 miles west of Seabrook, as the crow flies. This
location is just more than one block southwest of cross street El Camino, on the southeast side
(opposite the water tower). Any reports of meeting at other locations on other nights should be
verified before attending.

New Foil / Saber / Épée Classes

Coach Berntsen and company.
Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes in
foil - new classes start
in early January, 2009.

Elections will be held at the meeting of the members called for that purpose by the
Vice President (invoking Presidential authority) for 8:00 PM Thursday May 8, 2008 at
the Seabrook United Methodist Church gym (the "Ed White Memorial Youth Center"). All
members received details by e-mail.
